One G&T rarely comes alone. Therefore we've poured another. This time we've take a trip to Sweden, more precisely the small island Hven (even though it was Danish till 1658), and have a taste of the local distillery Spirit of Hven. To complement this rather potent gin, that has a lot of punch and bitterness, we've matched it with Fevertree tonic and a small rosemary branch.
This combination of the flavorful Hven gin, with the very balanced tonic and the hint of rosemary makes for a very complex and refreshing G&T. It works as a great digestive on top of a lovely dinner of charcuterie and cheese.
Recipe:
5 cl of Hven gin
12 cl of Fevertree Tonic
1 small branch of fresh rosemary
Lots of ice
Served in a tumbler.
